Each product has a free monthly allowance, then graduated bands: you only pay a band's rate for the units inside it. Prices are in USD and exclude taxes. Draft prices

Navigation SDK

How you pay for SDK users. Like Mapbox's Navigation SDK, pick the model that fits how often your users navigate. If your users average more than about 10 sessions a month, unlimited sessions is usually cheaper.

What counts: One session starts when the SDK begins haptic guidance toward a destination and ends on arrival, cancellation, or 60 minutes without movement. Rerouting inside a trip does not start a new session.

What counts: One request is one successful REST call or one WebSocket route/corridor computation. Routing done by the SDK inside a billed navigation session is included and not counted here. Errors (4xx/5xx) are not billed.

Pricing questions

What counts as a navigation session?

One session starts when the SDK begins haptic guidance toward a destination and ends on arrival, cancellation, or 60 minutes without movement. Rerouting inside a trip does not start a new session.

Every account gets 10,000 navigation sessions free each month, on every plan.

What counts as a monthly active user (MAU)?

One MAU is one app installation (iOS, Wear OS or wearable) that initializes the SDK at least once during the month. The same person on a phone and a watch counts as two MAUs.

You choose how SDK users are billed: MAU + sessions (A lower per-MAU price plus each navigation session), or MAU, unlimited sessions (One per-MAU price. SDK navigation sessions are not billed). You can switch at the start of any billing period.

What happens when I go above the free tier?

On the Developer plan, nothing is billed: usage above the free allowance is paused until the next month, and we email you when you reach it.

On Pay as you go, usage keeps working and is billed band by band: only the units inside each band pay that band's rate (graduated pricing). Free allowances always apply first.

When am I billed?

Usage is metered per calendar month (UTC) and invoiced in arrears at the start of the next month. Monthly add-ons are billed in advance; one-time add-ons are invoiced when the work is delivered.

Annual commitments are invoiced annually or quarterly, as agreed in your order form.

How do overages work with a committed-use discount?

With an annual commitment you get a percentage off usage. Each month you pay the greater of your discounted usage or one twelfth of the commitment. Usage above the commitment is billed at the same discounted rates; there is no overage penalty.

How do budgets and alerts work?

Set a monthly budget in the dashboard and we alert you by email and webhook at 50%, 90%, 100% of it, based on actual and forecast spend. Like Firebase and Google Cloud budgets, a budget is an alert: it does not stop your traffic.

If you want a guaranteed ceiling, opt into a hard stop. Paid usage then pauses when the budget is reached, until the next billing period or until you raise it. Free allowances keep working.

When should I talk to sales instead?

If your estimate is above $5,000/month, if you ship hardware (per-device royalties), or if you need on-premise, air-gapped deployment, an SLA or procurement paperwork, Enterprise & OEM pricing is usually a better fit.
